Your Sunday (March 28) article on Richard Morgan is a good example of how partisan politics has become.

In all the negative comments about him, there is not one mention of his letting down the people of North Carolina. It’s all about how he has “betrayed” some in the Republican Party. They apparently don’t care about what’s best for the state and its people. Their only concern is the party, or part of it.

And most in the Democratic Party are just as bad. They don’t mind bad-mouthing and hurting the economy and our anti-terrorism efforts if it will help get them elected.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the two parties would work together for the good of the country and its people?
